One of my favourite things about Julie Kagawa's books is her strong female protagonists. Just like Meghan (from The Iron Fey), Allie would do anything to keep everyone safe. I love the twist in the roles; the girl is the vampire and the boy is human. It creates a fresh new perspective on vampire novels. It would be great if this book turned into a movie because it would show how the girl is the bad ass vampire.
