I wasn't expecting much of this book, but still, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I'd like to. The love part of the story did not develop a lot. The plot was somewhat intriguing.
I would have thought that Rory would find a mysterious and supernatural boy. Even though, I started warming up to Rory's boyfriend, there is not a lot of him in it. This almost makes me want Rory and another more interesting character to get together.
As for the plot, it was hard to concentrate on this book at times. Some of the times, I found myself skimming the words because I just wanted to finish this book. I really wished there was more mystery to why the Ripper was chancing after Rory.
There was just enough action so that I could complete this book. Hopefully, the next book will be better.
